It is therefore our ambition to support the course in order to foster the awareness of risks and thus the formation of a global frame of mind. Such a global frame of mind has to be based on practical awareness and the ability to negotiate with the global actors of today. That is why we are interested in this course and our key expertise is the formation of an understanding of the global economy and the awareness of the world economy. This is what we are also to the public via the course. We want to build up the awareness of the general public, which is necessary to take a stance, which is the basis for the negotiating of global challenges.
We have to act like a businessman if we want to establish ourselves in a position of global power. In order to do this, we have to operate in the world market, but we are not interested in attracting the world to our own country or the United States.
However, we must take a view on the world market, which includes finding new customers, for example, and also close existing markets. This means we also have to make an effort to maintain long-term relations. This means that we have to be flexible and creative. We have to be creative in our planning in order to get the best out of our interests in the world market and thus also our benefit. A key factor in this is the technical understanding of the global economic power.
We have to pay a lot of attention to the global economic power, because if we get it wrong, then we will lose it. It is not a question of having the best plans but the right understanding of the global economy. This means that we are at the same time a manager and a planner. This is what we teach the students in the MA course.
